520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. "Introductory Macroeconomics is designed for undergraduate courses in basic macroeconomics, a study of the economic issues and problems of a nation. The primary purpose of the book is to present the basic fundamentals of the economics of a nation.<br/>A college student, or any citizen for that matter, is expected to be economically literate so that he can be a useful and productive citizen. An economically literate citizen would understand the economic problems of our nation. He can evaluate the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of our local and national leaders when it comes to economic issues. The newspaper headlines, the business section of today's papers are largely concerned with the economic decisions of the government and the business sectors. It is important that the people understand these decisions and make intelligent decisions about them. Making these decisions would make business and the government more sensitive to the people's needs. Thus, it is important that a student is economically literate. This book intends to fill this need.-- Back cover.
