This study sought to ascertain whether socio-demographic, travel/trip-related factors, and psychographic factors play any role in influencing car rental mode choice. The study setting was Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale Metropolitan areas of Ghana. Using a survey instrument, data was gathered from 382 respondents. The Multinomial Logistic Regression model used showed that three independent variables contributed significantly to mode choice and explained between 61% and 65.2% of the variations in the logistic regression model. All three independent variables affected mode choice.
