The book compiles scholarly studies of sociologists, political scientists, and academicians on the effects of globalization on social and economic matters, the influence of globalization upon democracy, new opportunities brought about by globalization, and some uncontrolled risks fir the national culture and economy and so forth. Through these articles, the students are given the opportunities to understand and appreciate the globalization phenomenon. Prepare themselves not only to embrace the positive gains but also to come up with solutions to address the probable negative consequences globalization brings to us."
