It includes professional ethics, core values, awareness of professional rights, privileges, and responsibilities, as well as the teachers’ roles in the society as a transformative agent of change. It provides learning opportunities for students that allow them to (a) meet the program outcomes and standards of a beginning teacher, (b) develop their 21st century skills, and (c) be healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
